The plaque is an overlay. The back is a shield and the front is the flaming eagle. I would recommend using a darker wood in the back and a lighter color wood in front. It increases the visual impact of the flames and the eagle. This project is of higher difficulty and you will need to release and lock the blade quite a few times to make this project work. So not one for beginners.
