If you are going to bend wood, you should know that there is always a chance of breaking the wood. With some types of wood you can break up to 30% of the planks that you bend. You can change the percentage of planks that you break by changing the thickness and type of wood that you use. Thinner wood is much better. Also bend the wood slowly not quickly. This method will only work with smaller pieces of wood. The size of the plank is restricted by the size of your microwave. But remember you can glue smaller pieces together to make larger pieces. If you need thicker pieces try layering the wood and make longer pieces by using joints.
