The pattern depicts a mountain from a distance in a realist style. I find the pattern relaxing.
With this project I would recommend a light color wood for the foreground and a backboard out of a dark wood or one that has been painted black. This will create a strong contrast.
The pattern size is 24″ x 6″, so it’s a quite wide pattern. I do think that the width works with the subject matter i.e. a wide mountain.
